The pneumonia shot hurts like a bitch. So much better than actually having pneumonia, though. I got it the year after I was hospitalized for that nasty pneumonia case.
Healing vibes for poor Bella.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Poor Bella. But I am glad it was nothing worse.
Poor Bella kitty. May her stay in the cone of shame be short.
Teppy, thanks so much for sharing those beautiful pictures. I'm still smiling after looking at every single one.
You're welcome! Our photographer did a great job. (Seriously she gave us 1200 pictures, although many were B/W versions of color photos, but it was still probably 800+ unique photos.)
Crap! Meant to say also how beautiful your pics are, Tep. Just wonderful.
smonster,
that is so GROSS! I am glad it seemed easily treated though. Hope it didn't cost $500.
smonster, I'm glad to hear that Bella will be okay. Poor Bella - that does sound remarkably unpleasant.
Glad Bella is fixed up and has appropriate meds.
Flu shot makes me miserable for at least a day. So much better than flu though.
Had car trouble Thursday, eye surgery yesterday. Has not been the easiest of weeks. Two amusing things:
When the doctor was about to work she asked me if I was "comfortable".
My reply: "Doctor, you are about to stick a sharp object into my eye. My survival instincts tell me that it is *much* more important that you are "comfortable".
Later, I had to wait for a ride home, so I decided to do some mild exercise. I chose a spot out of the way of traffic flow and walked back and forth. To make the exercise sightly more intense (though still very mild) I walked backwards half the time. A did with his mother saw me doing this, and asked "Why are walking like that?"
I replied: "Kiddo, I'm doing wimpercize."

Ooh, snap! Good one.
I replied: "Kiddo, I'm doing wimpercize."
Also, good!
I always tell phlebotanists the same. You have the needle, let's work on you being calm focused and on task. I'll work on not passing out.
