I'm pretty sure it won't be under 6 more hours. Possibly more than 6. The strike for HHN is finishing tonight which wouldn't be too bad except that today is also the day that I tech at UCLA so I was going bright and early to drive the truck and 14' trailer through rush hour LA traffic since I was also bringing in some equipment for my class. We are scheduled to go until 11 tonight and then I need to make sure the trailer is loaded and get all he gear out of here. I expect to get to get between 2 and 3 this morning. The good thing is my schedule isn't like this all the time.
So that's my dream. That and some stuff about cigars and a tunnel.

That would be my guess, too. I think it's repressed guilt over how much they enjoy hurting people. Easier to just declare you're a sociopath.

Our latest faux-son/nephew declares himself a sociopath, but it doesn't make him happy. He's exactly the kind of dissatisfied/rage at the world/wants to make a grand statement but can't find a cause type who could be talked into an exploding vest if he wasn't as self-aware as he is. He longs for glory and meaning in the best epic tradtion, but he doesn't live in an epic-centered world. He'd have done well as a high plains drifter type in the Old West. My primary goal with him is to keep him alive and out of jail till he grows out of the restless post-adolescent male a bit more. He needs to find a source of joy.

I'm perfectly willing to accept that there are plenty of sociopaths out there. I'm just thinking if I were a sociopath I wouldn't tell anyone. Unless sociopaths put a high value on honesty, but why would they?
