You're not friends. You'll never be friends. You'll be in love till it kills you both.

Spike ,'Sleeper'

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

That is weird, Ginger, and must be frustrating.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Ugh, mystery rash! That's the worst.

Top 10?

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I only woke up a little bit ago, and would already love a nap. Why am I so sleepy today? Also, my right kneecap is bruised from where I whanged it into a theatre seat last night.

Our wings are not tired.

Yeah, I like the thought of kicking a little demon ass.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

New thread!

Sleep and health ~ma to everyone, and Sean, I'll add my voice to those who say a 50K job in Atlanta with full bennies beats being broke in LA, no contest.

I'm slowly recovering from whatever the hell attacked my guts last week, and slowly recovering my appetite. I still think it was stress, or something that I could have handled easily if not for the stress. The Issue From Hell of the Journal Of Suffering is almost complete. I managed to get the house reasonably clean before my sister and her BF arrived. We watched a Norwegian movie that was billed as a wacky comedy, but was actually one of the bleakest and most pointlessly depressing things I've ever watched. Also included a gratuitous close-up of the complete birth of a human baby, crowning to splorch, which made me swear to never have sex again.

The almost-inevitable result of my vowing never to diet again, and to simply Eat Food, is that I've gained 15 pounds and am almost back to the heaviest I've ever been. I have dealt with this by buying larger clothes and a comfy pair of walking shoes. Moving on.

Compassionately intolerant

"Crowning to splorch: the Anne Boleyn Story"

I'm glad to hear you are feeling at least a little better, Zen.

Though I love Scandinavian cinema in general, I tend to hew to the Danish end of the spectrum generally less depressing.

I'm going back to bed.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm in!

Matilda had her last soccer game today, and Emmett's high school team had their last game today where they failed to make the playoffs for the first time in a long time.

We started off well (5-0) but regressed as the season went on, and the hitting completely disappeared at times and the defense got quite shoddy.

So he's got a few weeks off to finish the school year and enjoy prom, and then he'll start travel team ball around June 20th.
