Buffy: How bored were you last year? Giles: I watched 'Passions' with Spike. Let us never speak of it.

'Beneath You'

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Maria, you know there's going to be an election next November ... and there will be new people in Congress and their staffs will need a place to live. You might well be able to sell the Frederick house in a year.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I'm way too far out, and I'm $150K upside down. It's going to take years to get myself out of this situation if I don't want to default.

It's OK, Todd. Certainly not your fault.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Huh, the Tramadol didn't help my sleep at all last night but I sure do feel drugged 10 hours after taking it. Good thing I don't have to drive anywhere! Pharmacist friend said to give it a few days to build up enough to start working....*fingers crossed* a few days sure, but I have to go back to work on Saturday!

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

It's OK, Todd. Certainly not your fault.

But what if it was? I can just picture Todd steepling her fingers and mwa-ha-ha-ing.

But I like to think if she had that kind of power, she'd use it for good...or at least for OUR good...

Fingers crossed it all works out, Maria.

Drug-ma, Erin.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I have a friend who always gives fire extinguishers for wedding gifts.

I give a margarita set -- 6 margarita glasses, a bottle of good tequila and margarita mix.

That's a really good idea, Vortex. I like fun and sort of unique gift ideas.

No tea site suggestions? Or actual tea. I really liked this last time but since I can't read a word of it, I don't know how to replace it so I'm striking out on my own.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Cass, upton tea importers. They have a great selection, sell samples, and better prices than most places.

Awesome. I want to find a workable gap between 'well, I have tea but even I know it's not very good tea' and 'my ex aunt in law brought me a tin from China after a bunch of people did tastings.' Samples that I can buy are perfect for that.

eta: About to buy so many samples. Several of their sampler packs and then a couple of samples of teas I know I generally like. Their catalog is ... dense. Thus prepackaged sampler packs seem like a very good way to start. Um, eighteen teas in total. I need a new notebook just to remember what I want to finally buy. In 2015 when I run out of tea. Thanks, sj.
