Oh no! Poor Nathaniel! Poor Beth!
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Sorry Beth. Man.
Oh, Beth, I am sorry. I hope his remaining time is comfortable and filled with happiness. Sucks he won't get all of those twenty years.
I'm so sorry, Beth. So many vibes to you and Matt and especially Nathaniel.
Beth, I'm so sorry to hear that.
So not fair, Beth. I'm sorry.
Oh, Beth. I'm so sorry.
{{{beth}}}} hugs to you and purrs to Nathaniel from the two kitties flanking my lap right now.
IOmeN, that surgical consult that I had to wait a month for.....good news is no femoral hernia or indication of internal adhesions. However there is a trigger spot on my femoral artery below the inguinal ligament. None of these terms would I have known if there hadn't been a 20 something female student in the room because Dr McAncientBushyMoustacheWhyDidn'tYouRetire20YearsAgo didn't seem to feel the need to tell me anything other than "not a hernia, i'll write you a scrip for tramadol." When pushed further (like "is it ok to exercise? Because before I was told to not do any core work due to possibility of hernia, so if it's not....i'm ok to do whatever?" and he answers "uh, whatever you are comfortable with.") I got nothing and spent the next 45 minutes breaking down sobbing in the exam room. No answers. He says he'll refer me to a physical therapist. For my total lack of injury. And how soon can THAT dr first fit me in? November 20. Fucking awesome. No answers, no plan that makes any sense, and another bottle to add to my collection of painkillers that do nothing. Back to PCP on Friday, praise be she at least returns my calls, is sympathetic, and gets me in within the week.
((((Beth and family))))
And erin, I've been on Tramadol for muscle spasms in my back. Effective, but puts me to sleep. Words fail me on Dr. McLackofPatientsideManner, though.
Beth, best to you and Nathaniel.
Much luck with the doctors, erin.
Bonny, I'll be thinking of you at 1 p.m.!
