I already know what I'm gonna call her. Got a name all picked out...

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Aw, Ginger. Sorry for the kitty and the stress and may the car repair be simple and cheap.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, Ginger, what a pile of wretched. All my vibes to you, and your friend and her grandson. And if she trusts you to be with him, you're clearly not an axis of misfortune; you're a safe place.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

It's the alternator. $800. *sob*

Our wings are not tired.

Crap. I'm sorry, Ginger.

The status is NOT quo.

Oh Ginger, I'm so sorry.

So if anyone wants to comment on the link I posted to the debunked Obamacare Facebook post, I'd appreciate someone else gently telling my very sweet, very uneducated (she freely admits this) high school friend that the ACA is not, in fact, about people paying fines and Big Brother trying to take over the world.

Niece is at the urgent care. Might have pneumonia. Waiting.

Why does sickness always happen when you had something far more fun planned? It's like it KNOWS.

The status is NOT quo.

Oh Zen, sorry to hear!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Get better soon, niece of Zenkitty.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I was at the market tonight (finally!) and there was a woman two people from me with a toddler-ish boy who had been hollering his head off throughout the store. She was using her WIC benefits for the first time and, for whatever reason, it wouldn't let her buy the store brand 100% whole wheat bread or milk. She was obviously frustrated and she was SO nice to the clerk. She said, "Okay. I'll not get those now. Can you hold the stuff that did go through and I'll be back in ten minutes after I find the right bread and milk?" Guys, she looked just so damn tired but was willing to take the kid and go back and shop. I just ... I just couldn't let her. Shopping by yourself with a toddler isn't easy, but doing it while trying to navigate WIC and re-shopping for the "right" stuff? Pain in the ass. So I bought her bread and milk and told her to save the benefits for later. She was profusely thankful and relieved.

I'm not telling this to get kudos, but to show that I take seriously the help that we have received from y'all and that I'm trying my best to pay it forward as best I can.

Compassionately intolerant

Without giving you what you don't want, Aims, I just want to honor your humanity. I've done similar things for similar reasons and know what it feels like to me to be on both ends of that equation.

I'll bet that little boost gave that woman more energy to get through her day than anything else.

Bless both your hearts.
