Zoe: Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing? Book: Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

'War Stories'

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

sj, calm~ma to you. I'm not sure what stage you're at in the process, but I hope the doctor has some helpful information or a useful plan for you and TCG.

We've had all the tests (nothing was found to be wrong), but it has been a year now and no pregnancies. So, we're moving onto clomid and insemination and if that doesn't work after a couple attempts, IVF. t /tmi

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Oh sf. How frustrating. I'm sorry.

Hil, I hope some rest will do you good.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I started the day by dumping a bowl of cereal on my keyboard. I had to dig up an alternate, since the keyboard (my favorite) now just sends hundreds of q's into the ether.

Always Anti-fascist!

Oops, Merrit Weaver plays the lovably obnoxious rookie nurse on "Jackie", not the snarky British doc. Zoe is one of the few times that "so annoying, but you love them anyway" trope kind of works on me, so it's great that she won.

Our wings are not tired.

I hope the day off helps, Hil. You've started the new meds?

Lots of calm~ma, sj. I hope you feel better after the appointment.

I started the day by dumping a bowl of cereal on my keyboard.

Unique. You couldn't just dump coffee on the keyboard like the rest of us average folks.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Oh, poor CJ! I hope the nose and the rest are better.

sj, calm~ma. I'm sorry this is hard.

Steph, I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear about the B&B shitty treatment.

However, since Kate said it so well, I can do nothing but repeat it:

That said, YAY for being happily married, and YAY Tim for being a rockstar and taking care of you when you needed it. You two are so good together, and I'm so happy for you.

~ma and spoons to ND and anyone else who needs it.

Hill, I'm sorry things are hard for you. health~ma.

I'm officially sick. Down with some sort of a light flu. No sci-fi con for me, and I have spent most of today resting and sleeping. However, it needs to be over soon, or else my list of shit to do will be giving me a heart attack by the time I'll get to it.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Steph, congratulations on being a married lady! Also on being an employed lady! You really are having the best week evah! Well deserved. Not deserved? The horrible treatment by the venue. You totally deserve some compensation after that cluster.

bonny, so glad Niki is doing well.

I had my first interview with the recruiter for the big company and now have my second interview tomorrow at 1PM. I'm excited, DW is apprehensive. Will see what happens...

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Once GC is done with the job-ma, I'm going to need it. I applied for jobs with the local theater company and the symphony. It would be great if I could get one of those jobs (and have it pay decently) so I don't have to go back to work for the oil industry.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, GC! Job~ma.

Dana, job~ma to you as well. We have plenty to go around.

The appointment went well. I can't do anything until my next cycle, but I have plenty of appointments to look forward to after that. Now we're at the tire place getting new tires for TCG. I'm tying to resist getting more junk from the vending machine. Hopefully we'll be out of here soon so we can get dinner.
