[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Happy belated birthday, bt. I'm sorry to hear about the family drama. Being your father makes it especially hard, but thank goodness you have your siblings.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Being your father makes it especially hard

Yes, truly. There's a reason the tradition is to be your grandparent.

There's even songs on how to be your own grandpa.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

BT, Happy Belated Birthday!!! I'm sorry about the family drama at your party.

It is freezing here. So, I am making chili and cornbread for dinner. Apparently the trick for me not being too tired to cook is either to make dinner way ahead of time and put it in the crock pot or to at least get some of the prep work done early in the day. I'm just too sore and tired at the end of the day, especially after errands. So the cornbread is made, and the chili is in the crock pot.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I am sorry to never post and skip and skip and then show up with a me-me-me post but YOU GUYS! I have to talk to people and I can't talk to anyone here. I got contacted today about an awesome sounding job that seems like a perfect match for me at a huge co. which would involve a move to Seattle(it's not MS)! DW and I have been talking for years about possibly relocating to the Pacific NW so we are interested. I know we have some Seattle Buffistas, so depending on how this goes, I may need some recommendations for neighborhoods, good schools, etc. This was so out of the blue but I'm finding myself getting kind of excited at the prospect. I know, I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but man does it look like a great fit on the surface.

PS: Keep your LinkedIn profile current and active. This is one of many job opportunities I've received through LI in the last several years.

Thanks, lisah! I'm meeting with them on Fri at 2. Now to polish up the dusty old resume that I haven't touched for years. Argh!
