Yeah. There's just not that much right around here. I might be able to find more options in Hershey, where the Penn State medical school is, but that's about an hour drive.

A more progressive environment like a medical school may well be worth the drive.

Thanks. Right now, I'm just trying to get through today. Two more classes to teach, then grocery shopping, then home, then synagogue if I can make it. Then definitely synagogue tomorrow, since I already missed Rosh Hashanah services this year because I was in too much pain, and I don't want to miss Yom Kippur too. I've also got a call in to my doctor asking if I can get an appointment sometime soon -- I'm scheduled for one at the beginning of November, but I think that steroid shots might help now.

I missed my opportunity to go out with a friend yesterday because I was too depressed and sore to get moving. So of course today I am bored and lonely and no one is around. I should get dressed and at least go out for a treat to cheer myself.
