'Safe'

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Ginger, I lost both parents to cancer, and I'll be fine with you posting about it. Because it means you're here to post. So, please, as far as I'm concerned, kick cancer's ass and share as much of the process as you'd like.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Ginger, I'm so glad you shared your results with us, and I hope you continue to share. If for any reason you decide to post in LJ instead, I'd love to have it linked here so I know to check it. Sending much love your way.

Connie, you work for some wackadoos. Is there any dust containment happening around the work area?

Well, Ginger George Bailey, the kind words are all being said because they're true.

Worth repeating.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Ginger, I also hope you continue to share with us. I think about you a lot and I want to know how you're doing and what's going on. As much as you want to share, of course.

The status is NOT quo.

Ginger, we are here for you. Whatever you need.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Ginger, what everyone else said. I always want to know what is happening with you, but I don't want to be annoying by asking too much.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ginger, when my mom was dying it was such a blessing to have one place where I didn't have to soften things, or couch my language, or weigh every word for its potential to upset others. You all got me through, and I am more than happy to pay a little of that back.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Play to win, Ginger!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Here, LJ, wherever, got your back and always want to listen. I'd give a lot not to be on the other coast right now, but things are as they are.

Please, continue to mention ways we can make things easier, softer, more bearable for you, and ways you need us to kick your ass while you're kicking cancer's ass. Don't you dare disappear, either. Single word posts are still posts, and we need to hear from you.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Not going to ping me, Ginger. I want to know how you are, despite my personal experience with cancer. Whatever you need from us, you got it.

brillig

Is there any dust containment happening around the work area?

None whatsoever. The workers have no dust masks, the execs who have wandered through to see what's going on seem blase. And with the blowers running, the whole building is contaminated, if contamination is there. In all honesty, I think we're only looking at mold potential, not actual growth, but still, airborne plaster dust and insulation is bad enough.
