'Trash'

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

See, I was relieved, because I'd forgotten about that, and the only other medical-ish thing that sprang to mind was sheep castration.

Well good god, I'm glad it wasnt what Plei thought!

It's thundering and lightning here, which is kinda cool but not sleep-inducing. And a neighbor needs to change the battery in their smoke detector, which is annoying.

But tomorrow is Friday! And also the day the landscaper starts making me a patio!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

ION, I may be owed a toaster of some description. I have finally convinced Biyi that The Wire is not in fact wall-to-wall disturbing violence. We just finished episode 3 last night, leading her to muse, "This just gets more and more interesting." I believe she's hooked.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

How big are the JIllifonts that eat scorpions?? We have lived in vastly different deserts.

Just daddy longleggeds. I have this lovely vivid memory of coming into the kitchen early one morning to find a scorpion caught in a web, with a daddy longlegged wrapping it up. I promptly promised the friendly arachnid that s/he and all its children were welcome in my house from that day on. After that I would occasionally knock down webs, but never killed another daddy longlegged since.

Always Anti-fascist!

A lot of people, before they see the Wire, think that. I know I did, because I watched things like "New Jack City" when I was younger. But The Wire is closer to "Clockers"

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Still haven't seen the Wire. One day.

I was in the same place as Plei, with the rubber band. Glad it was NBD.

Last time I was in thrall in a Marshall's I bought a cute little old-school ice bag with owls on it. I looked at it yesterday and thought, "damn, that was kind of a waste. when am I going to use that?" And so of course today my faithful ice tea pitcher from Crate and Barrel, into which I have poured boiled water over a hundred times, today cracked in three pieces and dumped scalding water on my left hip, shin, and foot. Heyo! I can't wait to see if it blisters! Wearing shoes may to be interesting for the next couple of weeks.

Very unhappy to be a trend follower. Just splashed boiling soup on my foot. Better on me than the cat, I suppose but ouch.

Dammit, Cass! Don't do that!

I've still got to go clean up the mess, been lying down and chilling the burnt bits. ::sigh:: I was going to cook an actual meal for lunch but I think simple and fast is going to win.

Ok people, enough with the boiling licquids on your feet. Heal quickly.

I was thinking, "Hmm, should I go wash the ladle or can I just carefully pour this straight from the pan?" Should have washed the ladle. Because I am not so good at the careful pouring.

Ice and an easy lunch, smonster! Possibly something you don't have to heat. IJS.
