Occasionally I’m callous and strange
live kitten cam!, with bonus DVR feature so you can rewind to active or sleeping time, based on preference. Seems the timer resets to daily weigh-in time which is usually a nice active bit of human interaction, then they frolic amongst themselves for awhile after the human leaves. I MIGHT spend hours with that open at work. (Nothing like listening to someone hyperventilate while watching kittens frolic. Better than drugs. And fewer side effects.)

Construction woke me up at about 6:40AM. I turned over and ignored it for a few minutes then went "wait, WTF?" and looked at the clock, realized the time, googled furiously for the noise ordinances, and then screamed myself hoarse at the guys, and at all the phone numbers i could find to call. GRRR. Couldn't fall back asleep, though I tried. Not a restful way to wake up on Labor Day. I'm going to call back tomorrow and try to speak with people--this was not a case of "oh, gosh, the guys started a few minutes early, sorry"--no. Someone DIRECTED them to be there, more than two hours before the noise ordinances allow (9AM on weekends and holidays). I want to know who that person is, and I want to kick their ass.
