Dawn: I thought you were adequate. Giles: And the accolades keep pouring in. I'd best take my leave before my head swells any larger. Good night.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Ha! This is why I love buffistas.

Hugs and ~ma to all. I haven't been feeling well lately, so I've been nodding my head and sending out good thoughts.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I survived my first day student teaching!! We did some math PD and then set up our classroom. We were supposed to be team teaching as they have in the past, but the PTB decided to go back to traditional teaching this year. I'm disappointed about it because I was excited to learn about team teaching and had hoped to get that experience, but c'est la vie.

My cooperating teacher isn't as dry and flat as I thought. I mean, I liked her a lot at our first meeting because she has a different personality from me and I wanted to learn from someone with a different classroom style, but it turns out she's actually quite tart and I liked her even more today. She hates crafts and art projects. Which we laughed about because I am the Queen of Pinterest. It's going to be a fun year.

Aww, yay Aimee! Go learn and teach!

I have been feeling ridiculously out of it all day, and I'm not sure why--got up a little early but not THAT early, yet I just felt like molasses. Ugh. Tried to take a nap and the construction next door was way too loud, I only vaguely dozed. Left off the two big things I have to do and decided I'd do them later tonight. Hoping some food and drink will perk me up.

Fall allergies? Mine have already started to kick in.

Go, Aimee! You are going to rock at this!

I'm going to try my hardest. Besides being a mom, it's the only thing I've really ever wanted to do.

Besides own a Faberge egg. I've always wanted to own a Faberge egg.

I don't know if I mentioned in here or not, but my friend T, who several people here have met, is now officially a teacher! She started teaching kindergarten this year, after trying for several years to get a teaching position in her area.

I killed the thread, which I should probably take as a sign to go to bed. It would help if I slept normal hours tonight since I have to be in RI tomorrow morning to see some relatives who are visiting. I bought to cutest outfit for my cousin's baby at the Gap outlet tonight!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Excuse me while I roll my eyes at the woman at the farmer's market who was going on and on about how there is no scholarship money if your kid is of "European descent".

It's even more fun when they start ranting and raving and then realize that there's a person of color within earshot.
