Unsurprisingly my lack of extra meds led to a horrible night's sleep. What sleep I did get was nightmare fueled and I had to fight to wake myself up to look at something in the room that would prove that I wasn't trapped in the dream world. I don't see how tonight will be much improvement. I'm going to call my pharmacy to see if there is ANYTHING that can be done to get me even one day's dose of a couple of things.

For the record, day 3 of a mild-but-still-annoying migraine PLUS day 1 of your period is NOT a stellar combination. It's like the painkillers don't know where to go first.

Normally by day 3 of a migraine I go to the doctor for a shot, but it's not a brutal migraine; just annoying enough to make me really cross about it. It hasn't gotten worse in 3 days -- but it also hasn't gone away, despite the handfuls of drugs I've thrown at it. Grumble.

Today my father and I are both sitting at his dining room table working. We have such similar mannerisms, it is kinda freaky. I don't know if he has noticed that we each get the same look when waiting for the computer to do something or that we put our head in our hand the same way as we are reading.

I called my doctor's office to ask for 1 day's worth of a few of my meds. Now I'm waiting for confirmation before I head to a local pharmacy.
I wish I drank coffee. I've been downing tea, but the caffiene just isn't doing the trick.
