I battle evil. But I don't really win. The bad keeps coming back and getting stronger. Like that kid in the story, the boy that stuck his finger in the duck.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

True, Laura. She's miserable today. So, early lunch and early nap. We'll see how it goes post nap when I try to put on baseball instead of Sesame Street.

not your mom's socks.

We might be thinking of putting a bid in on a new house? I blame hippocampus.

I didn't break much at the old place yet. Also yay!

A**z*n just dropped a major sale on certain books. Did anyone tell me this was going to happen ... noooo. ACK. also yay!

Can you watch baseball and have the radio audio of the game on? The radio announcers are more enthusiastic and may command more attention.

Librarian Warlord

Also yay!

If it works, the master bedroom will actually be the guest room, because we like another space for ourselves. So that would be an improvement for you.

Pretty heavy on the "if it works" though, since inventory here is really low, and we get letters and emails every week from people who are looking to buy a house but can't find one and are hoping to get inside info on someone thinking of selling so they can pounce.

Since we have a house, we're not really willing to get into to much of a bidding war.

That's it. I'm enrolling this kid in magic school. I put her in her crib with a onesie and a sleep sack on. Went in to see why she wasn't sleeping to be greeted by her diaper on the floor while the onesie and sleep sack were still on.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Congrats and yay, smonster! That's really good news.

sj, I'm glad the Whole30 helped you have less pain. ltc is the new Houdini!

Now that IS talent.

Can I get some job~ma for my unofficial future son-in-law? He has 2 or 3 interviews today, a couple of which are second interviews.

Zen, I often call her that. Nothing stops this kid when she's determined to do something.

Sending the job~ma, Suzi. I hope this stress resolves for the kids quickly.

sj, I am going to take this as a sign she is going to potty train quickly since she obviously does not like diapers.

ltc just looked at a picture of a lion and said meow. Not sure if that's a parenting win or not.
