I'm sorry Teppy, but you're so brave for sticking with it. Is there anything we can do to support you?
I'm halfway through the whole30 today, and all I want to do is eat a pound of mac and cheese and a quart of ice cream and then sleep for a week.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

TCG just now informed me that he has an all day conference on Saturday. I'm trying not to cry until I can get ltc down for her nap.
My good friend that runs the library bookstore I volunteer at passed away today. Fuck Cancer!

How is Mom doing, Epic?
Rusty chainsaw, meet cancer. And FUCK OFF.
If only there was a profit in CURING cancer instead of just "raising awareness" and creating expensive drugs that only "treat" it.
There are so many different kinds of cancer, I don't think there's just one cure.
I know Connie. There is just no incentive, other than a healthy populous, to curing any of them. And all parties concerned have clearly shown that they are most interested in profit.
Why wouldn't there be profit in a cure, at least for the more common types of cancer?
Suzi, there would totally be profit in a cure. But "cancer" is super complex and even any given type ("breast", "lung") is so different and everyone responds differently to different things. They'd charge an arm and a leg for it (see cure for Hep C) but if we were able to find a cure, they'd totally do that.
