Hullo. I have a bad habit of writing a lot in a short period of time here and then going away for kind of a long time. I get worried that I've written too much and it's easier to just go away than to risk coming back and finding out I did it all wrong. Or something.
34 out of 50 on the spectrum test.
Java's still alive. I'm taking and posting a lot of photos of him on FB.
Did I tell you that I have a smart phone now? My very first one. It's great.
I was determined to make do with a flip phone and my tablet, which functioned virtually as a smartphone, but I lost the flip phone somewhere around or in Olympic National Park or maybe Victoria BC, and Android isn't updating the OS on the Nexus 7 anymore. So I bought a Nexus 6 in Oregon, no sales tax, and I'm hooked up with Google's Project Fi.
So how many years have you had a smart phone?
I'm still getting by with flip phone, which may be about five years old.
It's good to see you here Java.
I fairly recently got a smartphone, but I got one with an Actual Physical Keyboard!
I have an old flip phone, prepaid service. When I renew service for the year I will be able to get reimbursed from work because I'm now using it for work.
I've had a smart phone since 2009. My tablet sort of faded into un-updatable obsolescence a few years ago, and I haven't replaced it, because my my phone sort of fills that use space. I made the first one last six years, and I hope my current one will match it.
I've had my smartphone since 2011. When I found out Tr*mp has the same one, I decided it's time to upgrade. So I'm working on that.
Java cat, it's always good to see you, whenever you come around. Don't go away!
I resisted getting a smart phone for ages because I knew it would more than double my monthly bill. But the hinge on my flip phone cracked and I couldn't risk being without a phone for any length of time when my mom was in the hospital and I was the main contact. It's been about a year and a half and I love my smart phone (Samsung Galaxy S6) and waste as much time with it as I knew I would!
All my fussing over that final paper? I ended up with 340/350 and an overall A in that class. So, one third done with the program and a 4.0 GPA.
I have a few days off before the next class starts. Three more classes, then my capstone, then four business specialization courses and I'M DONE. AKA, I have about 16 more months of whining to go.
Woot! A! Woot! 4.0! Those Smarty-Pants make your ass look great!
P.S. Whine away! We can take it! (And empathize, most of us!)
