I got a new splint for my hand today. It's kind of ugly (they do make pretty silver ones that look like jewelry, but they don't make one of those for the particular joint that I need splinted, so I got a plastic and velcro one), but it does seem to work pretty well. Even just wearing it for a day, my hand is hurting a lot less.
Xander: I do have Spaghetti-os. Set 'em on top of the dryer and you're a fluff cycle away from lukewarm goodness. Riley: I, uh, had dryer-food for lunch.

I can definitely replace the plain tan velcro with other colors of velcro. I'm not sure whether I want to do anything with the plastic part, though -- pretty much anything I do would be permanent, so it's got to be something that I'd be OK with having on my hand all the time.

I do hope the splint eliminates the pain and helps prevent further injury. Might be able to Google some decorative ideas for it.
Watched the final episode for Stefano on Days of Our Lives today. It was kind of sad, but at least there was some closure.

Oh dear. Mom still watches Days...and we've got a reception tonight for a family friend that passed away earlier this week. Gonna be a bummer of a day from start to finish for poor Mom.
