And the current events make me feel like I'm turning into a conspiracy theorist and it's making me paranoid which I think is bleeding into other things.
It is starting to feel like powers are asserting themselves to actually destroy Democracy. Like...this could be it.
Trump and Bannon want to destroy the State. They've said so specifically. They want ruin and riots. It's going to take a lot of work and vigilance and lawyers to stop them.

I'm trying to decide whether to go to the airport protest tonight. On the one hand, I should be there, and it's indoors, so that makes it a lot easier for me. On the other hand, my sinuses and shoulder are killing me, and I've got a ton of work to do tomorrow, so I won't be able to sleep in if I need to.
I think I'm ending up on the side of not going, and feeling useless.

If I weren't sick, I would go and I'd take you (if you wanted). But my throat is scratchy and I have a cough and a runny nose, so I have to stay home.
I ended up not going. Sinuses are being stupid, and my shoulder isn't really cooperating with wearing a bra for more than 45 minutes or so.
I just used a neti pot, and now, when I blow my nose, I hear a loud squeaking sound in one ear. That's never happened before. I'm guessing I got some water trapped there, or something. It's a little disconcerting, to have sounds that are clearly coming from inside my head.
I'm thinking about maybe going to the rally at City Hall tomorrow, if I finish my work in time. I've got a bunch of stuff to do, and I should be able to finish it all if I start early in the morning, but not if I sleep as late as I've been sleeping.
