[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

The status is basically Maybe You're Okay But Maybe You Had A Heart Attack, So Let's Hang Out.

Good lord, Tep. Lots of ~ma to him and to you.

He sounds fine on the phone, and, honestly, if he did have/is having a heart attack, he's in the best possible place. And he's survived 5 heart attacks, so #6 is really just like taking a victory lap.

brillig

Hubby's first Heart Attack I Was Aware Of was like that, no signs of the enzyme, recent tests showed fine. In fact, the previous test was so good that the cardiologists were saying "Why are you wasting our time with this when there are sick people out there?"

We were in the ER, Hubby was being held overnight just in case, they finally convinced me to go home, and the phone's ringing when I get in the door. It's the ER saying, "OK, the enzymes just came back positive, we're taking him to the catheterization lab, you'll want to get back here."

I suspect he probably had #6 today, given the fact that the doctor wants to run those tests 2 more times. It sounds like the doctor suspects a heart attack, too.

I'm considering trying my mom's cocktail of Ativan + chardonnay.

I won't. But I thought about it.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I think with Ativan you want a nice Cab.

(This is the kind of thing I say when I want to comfort someone who's not a hugger or punctuation-receiver. Do you feel the love, Tep?)

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I...kinda see Steph's mom's point about Ativan and a drink. Unless you have crazy low-tolerance or are on a cocktail of other meds.

I'm thinking Prosecco. It's summery!

I'm a white wine and Xanax girl, myself.

Whiskey and Lorazapam?

Man, the last two days of work have been killer. I'm lucky that I have a boss who is communicative and supportive. Only took me 20 years to find a good one.

I performed only minor magic today but they still seemed very happy with my contributions. I mentioned at one point that I'd been with the company for 22 years and got utter shock from the two guys. Later I was talking with one of them about our kids and mentioned my 17 year old - again, he was shocked. How old do I look?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Champagne and Xanax got me through the SF2F when I was having major anxiety and panic attacks.
