Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

So work today was ok. Except 4 hamsters and a snake escaped some how (no one knows) the hamsters are missing and the body of the snake was found.

I've got 1 4 hour shift next week, and evidentally I only have that because someone gave up one of their 2 shifts. But this somehow isn't a reflection of my performance. The other stock person has 17 hours. I'm not sure why the 17 hours couldn't have been split between the two of us.

So back to job hunting.

That sucks, askye (both the escapees and the only 4 hours!)

Go JohnSweden go!

I myself need to be somewhat productive today as I'm out tomorrow and Friday. But still having a hard time motivating.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Am I horrible for assuming the snake died from eating too many hamsters?

Hope you get more hours or find another job soon, askye.

I'm having my first period in a while off of BC and OY, with the suckiness. Nausea, friending for chocolate, lead in my guts, the works.

* fiending, not friending, but anyone with chocolate to share is my friend right now.

It would be maybe more amusing if the snake did but there was no evidence.

My immediate reaction was "I think I know where the hamsters are..."

I feel you.

I got a call from the woman who is a supervisor but low level , she was asking if I wanted to work in the Arden store tomorrow and I said sure. It's as cashier not sure how it will go ( I don't have a ton of experience) but they may put me on the "on call " list for call outs.

Should up to the Arden store and they were surprised. Twice they asked if someone could, twice people said yes and both flaked.

It's so much busier than my store but I did ok. And they took down my number to call in the future.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I took a low dose of fluoxetine for my menstrual migraines for about two years and was fine with it. Agree with the sleepiness, so switching to taking it in the evening was very helpful. I did also have some weight gain. The one odd thing I had with it that didn't go away (bear with it in the beginning, I had tons of side effects initially that all went away) was the bruxism (jaw clenching). It was bad at first, and then subsided, but was always present. I learned how to be mindful about it and consciously relax, and I actually liked later on that I could use it to know whether or not I'd taken the pill (I was taking it only during and just before my periods) but it always was there, and I could tell if I was particularly stressed or something by its severity. It did seem to also help with my mental health issues, but I think at this point the therapy has superceded that.

Which is good, because I've just gone off it...because I got my Mirena placed today! Thanks, Obama! Literally the day before the inauguration. I cannot tell you how viscerally I hate that I'm making healthcare decisions based on politics, but I am also grateful that I got it done, for free, before all hell breaks loose. I'm kinda excited, and looking forward to seeing how it works for me. It's good for five years. Surely in five years we'll have somebody reasonable back in office, right?

I admire your cervix. Mine is just laughing and saying "HELL NAW, LADY."

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I have rescheduled my appt for tomorrow at 11:30 am. So, one hour into the ceremonies. Hope it's not too late!

This week in "my feels via Hamilton..." Shitty roommate wants to cohost a party for Bacchus. So of course my brain went to, "You hear this guy?! Openly campaigns against me talking 'bout 'I look forward to our partnership.'" I told him I'd think about it. Latest bizarreness is putting my dog's bowl in the sink because he's "trying to be tidier." I stated my firm belief that dog bowls belong on the floor and don't need daily washing and he was like, "Okay, I'll just put it on the counter." Once again demonstrates the dichotomy that happens sometimes between "tidy" and "clean."

But in happier news, he's leaving any minute now and will be gone until next Thursday! First to protest in DC, then to see Britney in Vegas. Bless! My soul is soaring.
