When he closes he makes sandwiches out of whatever is left and gives them to homeless he passes on the way home, but there wasn't anyone out there that he passed last night. I didn't know he did this.

I'm going to chalk this up to a practice attempt. We had lunch with awkward silences. Then walked on a trail neaby...with lots of cyclists out where the silence wasnt as awkward. Just not a lot in common.
You did it. That is not a small accomplishment! I'm sorry there wasn't much to talk about, but practice is still valuable.
It was. I mean it wasn't horrible and if he lived closer I'd probably be willing to do something as friends but.. it was at times very very awkward.
Like when he brought up he's a virgin. I was kind of silent and he asked if I knew what that was. I said yes. I wasn't sure how to respond.
And apparently, potassium-deficiency related muscle cramps are going to be worse during PMS for me in perimenopause.
So I messaged 2 guys and asked if they'd like to meet and both said yes (I wasn't expecting that). Also the guy from Saturdy wants to get together again.
I need new clothes to go on dates, my tops are too big. And I need to take some more recent pictures.
And in cat news - I got Penny a harness and leash and she's not adjusting well to the harness but it's the first day. She wants to go outside, I don't want her to wander alone, she'll have to deal. Hopefully she'll take to it, she's a weird kitty. She was super extra snuggly and purrign this morning and then I realized she was out of food (she gets affectionate and then I don't want to get up, I hope she never learns to be obnoxious).
We are going to take Slinky to the emergency vet. She has symptoms of a UTI and is pretty miserable, and the regular vet can't see her today. But she's also been slowly declining -- she's about 20 years old now -- so we might have to put her down. This is tough.
