I think five knocks what I take out of the park. Respect. It doesn't make me sleepy though. So I have that on my side when I take it.
Ativan with a Chardonnay chaser is probably really relaxing. Maybe more than is good.
My stepmom and I blink at other people when they ask for one Advil. Or we ask for some and they hand over one. That's just confusing. Where are the other two?
And further, has anyone overcome a rotator cuff injury?
Oddly, accupunture. For a few people who tried it. Two out of three. One was my Dad. There are also other anti inflammatories out there.

Tim and I go through a 500-count bottle of ibuprofen so quickly, it's comical. We are the Sid and Nancy of ibuprofen.

I'm going to get in touch with my friend, the acupuncturist, to see if he can recommend someone local. I would LOVE for that to work.
Thanks for the encouragement Steph. I'll do the advil until I speak to the needlist.
Cagney is SO much better on the leash these days, but the damage seems to have really accumulated.
In this list of exercises [link] I know I did #2, #3, and #5. I didn't do anything with elastic bands, and I didn't do anything with weights until I was almost 100% recovered.

Thanks!
#1, I feel nothing at all. #2 KILLS. I suppose I need to reduce the inflammation before expecting that any of the exercises will feel good.
I can do 3 and 4 but am not sure how far to go.
Starting on the 4 Advil before bed.
I sincerely appreciate the help, Steph. Thanks so much.
So ... we might have fallen bass-ackwards into a house.
Woot! That's awesome! (hopefully on a pillow, landing on the tailbone...ow). The red house looks cute! And right by a bike path. I see family time riding bikes after dinner. Good for the heart. Good for the family. Not so good in the snow.
Ravioli
I have a new neighbor. After a YEAR of vacancy, the unit above me has a new owner. Seems like a nice guy. I'd guess mid 40's. Is a buyer for Matel Toys. We exchanged phone numbers. Hopefully he's quiet.
I sincerely appreciate the help, Steph. Thanks so much.
You're very welcome! I hope it helps.
I just downed the first four. Fingers and tendons crossed.
Aims, the house looks great! And a bike path! Hoping this works out for you guys. You deserve a break.
bonny, adding my voice to the Advil brigade. When my back is acting up, I eat 'em like Skittles. It's been my experience (and my sister's) that ligament or tendon injuries can take a long time to heal. You can't just stop using them, you know? I injured my hip in 2006 climbing a cliff in Monterey (that sounds much cooler than it was) and it still hurts sometimes. Not meaning to discourage you, actually just want to say, don't get discouraged if it doesn't heal fast. Oh, and not sound woo-woo, but a glucosamine/MSM/hyaluronic acid supplement makes a noticeable difference for me in how my joints feel. IANAD.
