Add Miss Kitty to the "is it time or not yet" list. Being gone the last two days has me missing her horribly. I'm sure the kids are giving her the pain meds and all that, but I just don't know what best to do for her. Her spine, hips, and back legs are horribly arthritic and she just has to be struggling when every step has her back half going in a different direction than her front half. But she doesn't appear to care.
She is getting extra snuggles when/if I ever get home tonight.
At emergency vet getting blood work done. She's down to 5.25 lbs from 13. I am at irrational levels of rage right now at my roommate for those two days she was locked away from water and the litter box for some hours. I found her hiding behind the toilet in the bathroom, which is when I decided I had to bring her in tonight.
BLARGHHHHHHH
{{Laura and DH}} {{smonster}} {{SuziQ}}. I would tell all the remaining Buffista pets to Get It Together Already but I can't even keep my cats On Task. (And all I require them to do is purr when petted! Not so difficult!)
I started to type out a terrible story about how my first cat died when I was a kid but deleted it all because it's not helpful and rather upsetting. Point being Penny had a swift passing and a that's often a kindness.
Yep. She used to look and feel like she'd swallowed a bowling ball. She had that hard fat. Solid.
A woman just burped loudly in the hall outside and it almost made me smile.
Well, that's done. Bye, Xusha, Queen Bitch of my heart. Ben and Jerry's was two for $8 at Walgreens so I took that as a sign and bought two. Gonna eat some and go to bed.
Goodnight, Bitch Queen. A flight of biker-cat angels wing thee to thy rest.
It's a hard time of year for the frail. Peace on your house.
