Oh yeah. My mom slipped on ice holding one of us (don't remember which one) and fell, taking the impact on her hip. It happens.
To be fair-ish, I think Frankie just thinks it's okay to pee inside at this point. I don't know what to do except try to crate train him at the age of eight. I left him out last night to go hang with Nora; when I got him, M had shut him in my room (again) and left Xusha out (again) and Frankie had peed on my floor (again). This morning the living room rug (which is his) was rolled up to the side. I wonder if Xusha peed on it.
DH fell down the stairs with my son once. They were both fine, but he was beating himself up over it.
I'm so sorry, Volans. I honestly can't imagine how awful it must be.
smonster I am having rage issues about your housemate. That is really unacceptable.
I have a scar on my arm from when I was.. maybe ltc 's age.
Mom and Dad were leaving a party and it was raining, someone was hodling me while they went to get the car. The woman slipped on steps and jerked me up and my arm was cut on her earring.
In one version of the story the woman holding me was tipsy.
edit - the woman had metal disc earrings so the cut was pretty bad. Mom still feels guilty about it.
Accidents happen, sj, you're a good mother. I have scars from
actually
negligent parents, it ain't the same thing at all.
Me three. That's so beyond ridiculous.
The part I left out is that I was only gone a couple of hours. And there have been times that I take him out, he doesn't pee, I bring him back in, ten minutes later he pees.
ETA but then today I was gone from 9-5:30 and he didn't have an accident.
My students had a midterm tonight, which means that I was drinking a lot of caffeine in order to stay up to grade it, which means that now I can't sleep.
I have a spectacular bruise on the back of my arm where I slammed into the toy box when I fell yesterday, but I'm not in much more pain than I normally would be on a rainy day.
