I have a friend whose mom (a musician) steered him away from saxophone and towards less popular instruments. He ended up playing the bassoon. Because there was a much smaller pool to choose from, he got to play in the statewide youth orchestra for several years and lots of other cool things.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Calm~ma for your Lasix today, Suzi.
~ma of whatever kind will help you through this tough time, smonster.
msbelle, lots of good vibes for the strength to help your parents through healing from this surgery.
I tooknow clarinet in middle school. I wanted to be assigned sax but I don't think any girls were. Or percussion but I know there were no girls on percussion.
I liked playing the clarinet.
Healing~ma for your dad, msbelle.

The clarinet would be lighter to schlep around than the sax.
Thanks, y'all.
So far I have called Costco to refill my contacts, paid a credit card bill, sent three emails I needed to, and cleaned the trashcan with bleach (we have a fly problem). Next is eating lunch, then maybe some errands. Also have laundry to do and more pictures to hang, and I REALLY need to go to a yoga class.
{{{smonster}}} I wish I had more than hugs right now, but you can have all of them. I don't run out.

~ma and hugs all around, seems like we could all use them.
EpicT., I just bought that lip crayon, so thanks for posting that! It's a frivolous little thing but it makes me feel a little bit better.

My new-agey lesbian co-worker just gave me a piece of Reiki blessed malachite. LOL and oh so sweet and appreciated. I don't know how we're all going to make it through this. The rage, devastation, and depression have such a hold.
