Steph, I've been itchy and sleepless on Cymbalta too, but it's getting better, so I think my body's adjusting. Unless it's just intolerable, I say give it another week and see what happens. I hope it settles down!
I took my dose this morning, and I'm going to keep an eye on the itchiness.
In meds doing what they are supposed to be doing news - my increased Lyrica is finally cutting off the nerve pain in my face. It isn't completely gone, but it isn't debilitating any more.
I'm going to miss most of a results watching party because Kelly's bf asked if I would pick him up from work, take him to get is CO DL, and then take him to the polls. Poor dude has been trying to get his CO DL for weeks, but every time he has gone, they want a piece of paperwork he didn't bring. He doesn't have a car right now and his work schedule doesn't allow many opportunities to go but he REALLY wants to vote - so sure, I'll play chauffeur.
Thank you, Suzi! I am on call to drive people to the polls but haven't been needed yet. We have record turnout here and it is looking really blue in Florida.
That is awesome Suzi!
And Laura!
I have not done anything for the election except post about it on FB but that's about all I can handle right now.
Also maybe one day I'll go to therapy and not have the whole thing revolve around my relationship with my mother.
I saw some neighbors at the polling station - they were off to the ER. They handed me thier mail in ballots to drop off- so I did my little bit.
Wait, what? Your neighbors were at the polling station on their way to the ER? Wow, that is total commitment to voting!
I have therapy today (I was not thinking when we made the appointment), so I have the fun of emotional health work on top of election stress.
We're voting when TCG gets home from work. I don't own any white, but I have a white dress for ltc that I think still fits and a blue sweater to put over it. We're currently watching a classic Sesame Street about the importance of voting. Wow, they're so different from the current ones! It's startling.
I wore the two white pieces I own. Why do I not own white, purple, or gold clothes? Anyway, I took Mal to McD's for lunch and an elderly lady in all purple with an I Voted sticker complemented me on my white with I Voted sticker.
I saw a brief blurb about a woman who was in labor and stopped off to vote before going to the hospital (I'm hoping they sent her to the front of the line).
