Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'm sort of amazed that he had an opening tomorrow (it's SUPER hard to get in, because he is on Cincinnati Magazine's list of best doctors every single year, so he gets swamped, and with good reason). Maybe this is a sign that the universe REALLY wants my ass back on antidepressants.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I hope Awesome Doctor can come up with something that works for you! I really didn't think that depression was one of my issues (or a significant enough one to worry about, anyway) but I am frequently amazed at how much of a difference this low dose of Prozac makes (and how much worse my days seem to be when I forget to take it too many days in a row...). I feel really lucky that the first thing we tried turned out to be so effective, if it hadn't or if there were nasty side effects I doubt I would be eager to try something else.

Which is all to say: go you, taking care of yourself even when it's hard.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

sj, am I misremembering that you are in the Worcester area? If you are, how do you feel about dinner on the 9th? Is vw close by too?

I'm one town over from Worcester, and dinner would be awesome! What time were you thinking? TCG is usually home by 6, but can be home earlier with a few days notice, and ltc usually turns into a crank monster at 7:30ish. vw is about an hour away, and it might be difficult for her on a weeknight, but you can ping her on facebook and see if she can make it work. Victor and thessaly live the closest to us of the buffistas.

No idea on time yet. I'm trying to figure out if I'm flying or driving.

No worries. If it is a later dinner we can either eat here, or I could meet you somewhere and leave ltc home with TCG.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

How's the water heater coming along, meara?

Yay, Awesome Doctor! I hope he can help you get the relief you need.

Ugh. I just shattered a glass bottle of pomegranate molasses all over the tile floor.

Thrive to spite them

Oh no! SJ!

Steph I hope Awesome Doctor can find a medicine that works with minimal side effects.

I had therapy, it was mostly me kind of processing (still) some of the stuff that happened since last time and things. Plus I had told him about bullet journals nad I showed him the one I made (my theraist loves charts, graphs and lists I figured this would be up his alley). And some other stuff.

I thought about getting gas but didn't now I'm kicking myself because there's a rumor of a possible gas shortage which is causing an actual gas shortage.

Oh I still need to get my car inspected/properly registered. I was going to try and do that yesterday but I had to babysit for E last minute (and then the plans from my brother and his GF changed three or 4 times which I hate but I have no control over).

So now it looks like next Monday will be the time when I have to do that. I hope I can get this done and out of the way without having an anxiety attack.
