WS, I echo what Scrappy said.
Steph, I hope you find something that works quickly. It's the right decision, but isn't it (not) funny how long we wait to go get help...
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Scrappy is still wise.
Steph, I'm glad you recognize that you need more help and are taking steps to get it. I know it's not easy.
Continued love to you and yours, Laura.
Teppy, I know it is a tough decision to make. All the ~ma for you.
Laura, I hope you got home at a decent hour.
WS, best of luck to you!
Happy Halloween, Everyone!!!
^^ What the wise Scrappy one said!
Still in fuming mode over hideous family funeral stuff. I really hate all of this. Tough to say whether I will have any siblings left before all is said and done. Sigh.
I'm sorry, Laura.
Laura, I have an urge to give people some talkings-to on your behalf.
I am suddenly so very, very thankful for the surprising unity amongst my siblings and me at the time my dad died. It was such a lovely thing that later when ordinary, or ordinarily dysfunctional, tensions resurfaced I often thought we needed another family member to die to restore peace. In my emo, young adult, not yet twenty, mind I sometimes had the urge to volunteer.
Steph, maybe some one or a combo of, the newer medications will give you the neurotransmitters you need while not adding too many unpleasant side effects.
~ma to Steph, Laura, and any who need it.
Congrats to WindSparrow!
It has been a Week, y'all. Last Saturday, F fell onto concrete on his forehead (!!!!). I took him to Urgent Care and they examined him and watched him for a bit and told me he was okay and to look for certain things that could indicate a more serious head injury.
Fast forward to yesterday, when I notice he has light bruising around both eyes (something they told me to watch for last weekend). I call Urgent Care and they tell me to take him to ER to rule out a fracture or brain bleed (!!!!!!). I take him in and they go back and forth over whether he needs a CT scan and finally decide to do it. They discover no fracture, no brain bleed THANK YOU, YEEZUS. We head home.
This morning I get a text from DW saying there is a huge bruise on F's cheek. Another call to ped, another person saying is normal. Can this please resolve so I don't have to have constant worry about my baby's head???? Damn!
Oh, Glam! How stressful! F stop worrying your Mama!
Ooh, Teasmade! I had no idea those were still being produced anywhere.
