There is actual science that shows that petting a dog or cat (or puppy or kitten) reduces stress...but so does looking at a photo of one.
I use cute animal photos in many of my presentations.

There was a half-grown black cat wandering around the landscaping this morning. The complex is no-pets, so he shouldn't have been there. I wanted to pet him, but that way leads to tears for all concerned. I hope he finds his way back to where he should be.

So, my oldest kid's school is having a fundraiser tonight - at Chick-fil-a. Do we say something, or just not go? I see that they do them fairly regularly. This school is an IB school and is all about diversity and inclusion, so I'm kind of like, what?
