I overslept, and I'm kind of dizzy from fasting and don't really feel safe driving, so I'm watching a livestream of Yom Kippur services. This feels weird.
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
If anyone else wants to be at services and can't, or just is curious, livestream here: [link] It's a Reform synagogue, so the prayers are mostly in English, with a few Hebrew ones mixed in.
I hope you are able to break your fast and feel better soon, Hil.
Hil, I'm sorry you weren't feeling well enough to go to services. I hope you're feeling better after the fast.
Good for you, Strix. I know it can't have been easy.
I ended up breaking the fast early. We're not supposed to fast to the point where we feel sick, and I was feeling sick.
Strix good to see you and congrats on 10 months.
So I am at the beach. It included a stop to deal with phone issues and I upgraded. Although after it happened I realized part of the problem stems from the power outlet in my car not working right. But I've been having battery issues.
That plus lunch took 3 1/2 hours. I did get to keep my old phone. However I did not let this or trying to merge from 116 on to 75 with a school bus in the way get me down.
Actually I handled everything pretty well and I think a few months ago I would have been over whelmed.
Brava, Askye!
Yay, askye!
Yay, Strix!
I'm headed to the doctor's in a little while any ~ma for actually being heard would be helpful. Then because Mom is here with ltc I'm going to take myself out for Indian food and to Trader Joe's. The idea if walking around by myself at the market without really needing anything sounds heavenly right about now. Maybe they'll still have pumpkin spice waffles.
~~~make. And treat yourself. Enjoy walking around the market.
