Much health-ma. Scary thing tests suck.
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Scary tests are scary. Even when I am 100% sure of the outcome they are stressful. Lots of calm~ma and health~ma being sent.
I must have that white-coat thing, too. sometimes I've had to take my BP twice, so it must have been a million or something.
I had to get drug-tested today, so that my doctor would prescribe my painkillers. Blah.
Just got back from the first night of Comic Expo, which was awesome. I saw Stan Lee! And I awkwardly stared at John Barrowman taking pictures with other people. I posted a bunch of shaky videos of Stan Lee on Facebook. The last person to ask a question asked, "I've heard that you're allowed to marry people. Is that true? And if so, will you marry me and my girlfriend here tonight?"
Was that the "we need to be sure you are actually taking all these drugs" kind of test, Hil? I have been warned I might face that at some point but have not, so far.
I understand why, but it's still supremely weird.
Yay Stan Lee, that's awesome! Which is the same word you used but I truly cannot think of a better one.
I think it was testing to make sure I'm not taking too much, or taking any other drugs that I'm not prescribed.
Get well, Ryan! I remember watching Lazy Town with Emmett.
Nothing but good news, Zen.
I'm sick sick sick. Diarrhea all morning and then a high fever and achey. It sucks! I hope it's quickly passing through bug.
Also, definitely a good thing that I got the painkillers refilled today, because, as I expected, everything hurts. Comic Expo is a lot of walking, even when I try to limit it and use my walker. It was also nowhere near as crowded as I'd expected -- I could easily walk around the booths and look at stuff without bumping into people or having to say "Excuse me" to get through with my walker or anything.
I saw another woman using a walker at Comic Expo yesterday. She was dressed as Harley Quinn, and her husband was the Joker. She said that, after all the walking yesterday, she'd be using a wheelchair today. I kind of wish I had that option. I still hurt. But, all the stuff that I want to see is in the afternoon, so I'll rest a little bit more, then head over.
I hope you are able to get to all the stuff you want to see this afternoon, Hil. Joint~ma!
