Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Today is not starting well. ltc's pediatric urologist is leaving the state and there are no other pediatric urologists in the area. So it looks like our choices will be either Boston or Providence. I love the doctor that is leaving.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Butter chicken for lunch. This is really good. Never had it before.

I recommend the butter chicken.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I had a burger with goat cheese and cherry jam. That is an AMAZING combination.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I ran out to get my lashes and brows dyed on my lunch hour, and grabbed a meatball sub on the way home. Which I just devoured as if I hadn't eaten for days. Mmmm.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My brain was still deciding if it liked the spices or not when it looked down and found my mouth had already finished hoovering up every last bit of rice.

The digestive system really does have a mind of its own.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yum, butter chicken. I had leftover pad see ew, which I hoovered up because I was eating lunch an hour and a half later than I would have preferred.

I am getting a sad lunch from the drive thru while the inlaws watch ltc before running to the market. How am I always out of all the things.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I was going to walk to a deli about 10 minutes (on foot) away for lunch, but just realized I left my Fitbit at home. So I'm going full cliché, "No Fitbit? No sense walking!", and I'm going to drive for lunch (leaning toward El Pollo Loco at the moment - I have coupons).

Full disclosure: I was already planning to go to the gym after work anyway, so the no walking thing isn't that big a deal. But it's just amusing how firmly the Fitbit mindset takes hold in the brain.
