'Day' is a vestigial mode of time measurement based on solar cycles. It's not applicable. I didn't get you anything.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Oh, and apparently the faculty union is going to have a march tomorrow, to protest the new contract, which does suck, and which makes us pay a lot more for medical insurance. But in this condition, I'm going to have trouble even walking from the parking garage to my office building. Marching is not going to happen.

For future tater tot reference: the Meijer in Oakley has store-brand tater rounds (same circumference, more or less, as tots, but less than half the height), and they bake in ~10 minutes. Tots take a lot longer. (Other brands may have the same -- or a similar -- thing, but I am cheap and buy store brand frozen tater products, so I can only speak for Meijer's tater rounds.)

Good to know. I think the ones in my freezer are half a bag of the fancy expensive ones from Whole Foods, because that's where I was the last time I was craving them.

I vote toaster oven taster tots (so there's no oven-preheating time wasted) and while they're cooking eat the English muffin with peanut butter.

I don't have a toaster oven.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Our wings are not tired.

Trufax - son's gf's name is Tate and her FB name is Tater, which only endears her to me that much more.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm really grateful that I have liked all the friends and romantic interests that the boys have brought home. I can't really imagine them hanging with people I wouldn't like because I think they have good judgement that way, but still really grateful. Not sure how I would deal if I really disliked someone they cared about.

Went out to dinner with the boys and Bobby's gf for his birthday last night. It is nice that they enjoy doing things with us, and with her parents too. Her parents went to the surprise party on Sunday.
