I got a rejection email.
I'm not really surprised I didn't do well enough on the interview and the hours I wanted were really limited.

I'm getting kind of worried about getting my painkiller prescription. I've been getting the prescription from my regular doctor, while I'm trying to get an appointment with a rheumatologist. I was running out, and I contacted my regular doctor for a refill, and said that I've sent my records to the rheumatologist, and that the rheumatologist's office said that they'd call me back sometime this week to set up an appointment, but that I need a refill until then. She rejected the request, and the office called and left a message for me saying that they couldn't fill prescriptions for chronic pain, and that I need to see a specialist for that. Um, that's what I'm trying to do. So, my new plan is to call the rheumatologist again tomorrow, get an appointment, and then call the regular doctor back with that information, and see if she'll write me a prescription. If not, then I don't know what my next step will be.
Sorry, Askye.
Oh Hil, that's really rough.
Hil I hope this can get worked out ....it's horrible being sort of held hostage by doctor's offices and policies and people you can't really communicate with.
Grandma needs surgery again.
OK, I tried to call the rheumatologist, but the call wouldn't go through, and now my phone is saying "no service." (It had two bars before, which was weird, since usually my reception here is fine.)
I got through. My records are "on the doctor's desk," and the receptionist will leave another message for her that I called to check on the status.
Crossing my fingers that you get what you need, Hil.
Best to you Hil
and Ma~~~ to your grandmother , askye.
