You do well to flee, townspeople! I will pillage your lands and dwellings! I will burn your crops and make merry sport with your more attractive daughters! Ha ha ha! Mark my words! Ooh! Ale! I smell delicious ale!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Well, is the entire event clothing optional? Link follows of nude wedding in my very own city in 1964. There are still some nudist colonies around here. [link]

eta: I guess I should add that not so work friendly on account of letting it all hang out at nude wedding and all.

Ha! No, it's clothing required, casual encouraged. (They're serious about the Nerf wars and archery.) But I feel like I should wear a dress, even if it's a casual one, since I'm officiating.

Well, in that case the dress is perfect. Proper yet cool enough for outside.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Wear a dress for the ceremony and then change into casual?

That occurred to me about 10 minutes ago. Sheesh, I am not on the ball. But I do want to buy a new dress anyway; I have like $150 in gift cards from my aunt and uncle that I haven't spent over the past couple of years, so I might as well shop.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I think the dress would love fabulous on you.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

We had the sort of famous nudists' Bar-Ess Ranch back in NC. And there's a place near here called Full Moon Farm that I sort of suspect is a naturists' reserve, though I haven't actually looked into it.

While I appreciate the human form in all its variety and bounty, I myself am not comfortable completely nude. Call me picky, but I don't walk barefoot in places I don't know are safe, and I don't sit bareassed, likewise. I mean, visual exposure is fine, but random surface contact is potentially icky.

Um. Not that anybody was curious.

And for a complete subject change, Steph, the dress would work well for officiating and archery, and you'd look great in it.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'm having a hard time finding a dress to wear to the wedding of our besties that I'm officiating, because it's a backyard wedding with Nerf wars and archery. Would this work for officiating an outdoor wedding AND archery?

Yes. Also, this whole paragraph.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I agree about the dress, Steph. And you could always add a cardigan or little jacket for officiating, then ditch it. Likewise nice sandals then switch to flipflops or something.

Bev, I just read an article about nudist etiquette the other day that said that (at least at this particular facility) they had towels for sitting so as to avoid surface ick, and that many people went nude with shoes because of uncertain groundcover.
