Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

It doesn't do anything for the cataracts though--I still have my original lenses, and could totally get cataracts when I'm older.

Oh. Darn. Still, no contacts (or glasses) would be a bonus. Maybe in a few years.

brillig

The Facebook "Here are your memories!" list is rolling around to that time two years ago. Maybe I shouldn't read them. But hiding from it doesn't make it hurt less.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Sean, lots of mom~ma.

Connie, yeah, words are just so inadequate for times like this.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Much health ~ma for your mom, Sean!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Apparently even if I feel fine at the time, if I don't sleep for a bit during ltc's morning nap, I magically run out of spoons at about noon and then the rest of the day is a slog.

Thrive to spite them

I'm home. The drive back was... exhausting and hot and irritating for many reasons. Dad came by to see me off, which was nice but we took aw alk and I got hot. I should have taken a quick shower to cool off but I didn't. This set the stage for me being hot and uncomfortable (because my car has an underpowered a/c!) and I managed to irritate my face with what I thought was pure aloe but wasn't. So it was hot and inflamed. I made three stops I think before I finally assembled a semi decent way to stay cool.

But I got home!

And Penny let me pet her and ran a way.

Hamilton the biography arrived.

A notice that internet is being upgraded int he next few weeks has arrived -- hopefully that's code for cable and it won't be too expensive.

Then Mom was like "Oh I only cleaned Penny's litter box once". So I go and clean it out and realize she needs new litter but that has to wait until tomorrow. I went to put stuff in the trash and come back to find her

PEEING ON SOME STUFF ON THE FLOOR NEXT TO THE BED.

The floor is linoleum so easy to clean but seriously cat . I made the litter box nicer. I just got home!

I guess this is her "welcome home, why did you leave me" hopefully she hasn't peed anywhere else. Like my bed.
