Oh, man, I cry when I'm angry or frustrated, which is THE WORST in a work setting.
TOTALLY.
Though with my dad or my former boss (a man), it also meant they stopped doing whatever yelling or raging they were doing and started apologizing.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Doctor told me, though it's bad, he's seen people with worse sleep apnea than mine.
The couple times I have stayed with my sister I am amazed at how often she falls asleep sitting in her lounge chair while working on the computer. Over the course of the day she will fall asleep about 10 times. Not good.
Scottish tweets re Brexit and Trump.
Seriously, best thing ever.
She's been waking up and not making a sound, just standing there and waiting for me to get her, which I only know about if I look at the monitor.
Awww, this says to me that she knows she can count on you to come get her and she doesn't need to make a fuss to get your attention. Not having to throw a fit to get a parent's attention is cool.
I am the grudge-holder in our marriage. My grudges are EPIC.
Yeah, me too. I'm a seriously nice person, but you do something that in my book that counts as unforgivable (like bigotry or hateful bullying, that sort of thing), and the grudge is permanent. Person is written off. If it is a family member or customer or someone that I have to have contact with I am well practiced at minimizing interactions.

Yes. I did have a boss ages ago that was a yeller and I knew my day would come as he yelled at everyone. The day he came into my office yelling about something my response was to stand up and yell back at him. "If you think you can do my job better than you are welcome to it! You can do it your way or I can do it my way! Your choice" Seriously, I don't know where it came from other than I had been dreading his tirades and knew if I didn't yell I would sob.
I hope you get your CPAP soon, and I hope it makes a huge difference for you.
Thanks, sj. Cigna did authorize, so I think the holdup was the supply company. I'm getting the CPAP Thursday. We'll see. I'm a little afraid to get my hopes up, frankly.
Oh, man, I cry when I'm angry or frustrated, which is THE WORST in a work setting.
You know what, I used to do that, and I just realized I don't anymore. Now I'm just a red-faced ball of fury and I have to watch myself that I don't say things I'll regret. I don't know what changed. Someone once told me, she knew I was really mad when my throat started turning red - apparently the visible rage starts in my chest and works its way up to my forehead, which is both cool and embarrassing.

That's me. People (especially boy/girlfriends) tend not to get this - I'll forgive and forgive, but if you cross that line of me not being able to see you as a decent person anymore, then we're done.
Also, Laura, can you get your sister to go in for a sleep study? She sounds like me, falling asleep all the time. It can be dangerous.
I'm a little afraid to get my hopes up, frankly.
I can't sleep properly without my CPAP any more. My sinuses just plug right up. And it helps a little with asthma-like tickles in the lungs.
It opens your sinuses? And it helps with asthma? Nobody told me that! That's what keeps me from falling asleep most nights, the coughing from the irritation in my throat and chest. Man, maybe this will actually work.
Cigna did authorize
I'm waiting for Humana to authorize (or not) the new IBS drug.* Our insurance plan changes on Friday, so I'm hoping they aren't delaying just so they can call on Friday and say "Whoops, new plan, can't help you!"
And sweet Jesus, bifocals are expensive as hell, even WITH insurance. My god. Plus I get to pay for 2 crowns on Friday. I am rapidly deteriorating, starting with my teeth and eyes, and it is expensive! I need robot parts right away.
*In the meantime I'm throwing probiotics and kombucha at it, and my hippie brother is all "bone broth! go get some bone broth!" And ISTG I'll try anything at this point. I'm just too lazy to drive to Whole Foods tonight. (So, apparently, I'll try anything...but not immediately. I'm such a dork.)
My sister needs to get a new damn CPAP, but has one excuse after another not to do so. She has also needed a knee replacement for a decade or so but instead gasps out loud each and every step. She frustrates us to no end. So I stopped bothering to respond to her falling asleep and walking issues. If I am around her I will do anything I can to help physically, but she has worn me out talking about it.

This is why I love Zenni.
Spent an hour out weeding and now I have a blister on a finger. The only bandaids I have are Avengers, which normally is just fine. But I'm spending the next two days in high level training with my boss and my boss's boss. Well, I guess that will be an icebreaker.

MOG mine were $800. And I hardly wear them! the lenses are so thick, I hate how I look in glasses.
I need robot parts right away.
I want the cataract surgery that gives you 20/20 vision with a new lens. How come I have to have cataracts first? I'm legally blind, dammit, isn't that bad enough.
If I am around her I will do anything I can to help physically, but she has worn me out talking about it.
TOTALLY understandable. Nothing wears me out emotionally faster than someone who continually complains about something that might be fixable but won't do anything at all to try to fix it.
ION kombucha is gross.
