Pix, that sucks. I can't remember if I sent you sympathies for your grandmother. Was she the one I met one time?
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
E has been sick off and on for a few weeks. Just not feeling well, tummy aches. Sometimes fever.
Turns out he has mono and his tummy ache is an enlarged spleen. He's on strict bedrest for 3 days , at least.
Poor thing! How old is he? I kind of assumed that mono is more of a teens/early 20s disease.
Poor kid! I hope he's feeling better soon.
I don't think ltc likes the heat very much. She's been cranky the last few days.
Aw, poor E.
Poor E! Bed rest at his age is a tough thing.
Also sending health~ma for the IBS suffering Bitches.
My father? Thinks that I'm a total frelling idiot. It's all really boring and financial, right, but dude, I know what my address is, you know?
He's almost 8 . But according to the doctor mono and strep throat has been making their way around the schools but no one has put out a health alert or let parents know.
The doctor said it's better to get it younger.
This is me side-eyeing erika's father.
Get well soon, E.
sj, I'm sorrry you have had so much pain today.
Boo, hiss, IBS.
Today was the first day I have been able to eat on the small meals often plan where I had something remotely like a good balance worked out. I was all set up for carby, cheesy, sandwichy snack-type mini-meals from before. My ordinary lunches and dinners tend to feature boatloads of vegetables. If I'm not going to cook my usual boatload of veggies, then I needed to lay in stock of more raw veg to grab quickly. And I had to think ahead and bring stuff to work. Still, I think it worked. No nausea, no feeling Thanksgiving feast full on an ordinary meal, no feeling weak and sick. Thank you, Laura.
Sorry about E, and also sorry you had a rough day, sj.
Was she the one I met one time?
And yes, that is the grandmother you met. Any Buffista who came to my house when I lived in CT met her. Thanks for your sympathies.
ETA: I moved out to L.A. almost 11 years ago. That seem unpossible. /ralphwiggins
