Maybe avoid soup? I dunno
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Thanks, Laura. Tonight's bedtime did not go well. ltc was hysterical and refused to sleep or be comforted. So unlike her. Poor sick baby.
I remember in Arizona, mothers with young babies talked about starting infants on bottles with water early, even if you breast feed, to get them used to drinking water.
I hope that ltc and parents were able to get some sleep. I do remember the sleep deprivation days too well.
Now they say no water because it fills their tummies instead of milk.
She slept pretty well. Me nsm. Th damp weather is back and I have a sinus headache. I'm hoping a second cuppa will help.
As discussed on FB:
Late Friday afternoon, we learned that our big, sweet, sensitive orange kitty Seamus has cancer. Angiosarcoma, to be exact. It's a fast-moving cancer that can originate in the vital organs (very poor prognosis) or the skin (pretty good prognosis). Oddly, it isn't unusual in dogs, but it's very rare in cats.
The cancer cells were found in his skin, so I hope. But we'll know more at the appointment with the oncologist on Wednesday.
Seamus was one of the kidney donors when Teddy had his transplant in 2007. Seamus is 12, and I've been half-expecting kidney failure in the not-too-distant future. Not cancer.
Fred, I'm so sorry.
Buffista mamas, I really hope your children cut you some slack. Runny noses and congestion, be gone!
My grandfather's sister passed away today. My poor 88 year old grandfather was the one who found her. I wasn't very close with her, but my grandfather was.
Oh that's hard, sj, peaceful grieving~ma for your grandfather.
