Laura, she was also crying a lot and trying to feed but then gasping for air. Poor baby. The little formula we did manage to get in her with the syringe seemed to be enough that she could sleep, and after she slept eating was easier. The nurse also said that apple sauce will keep her hydrated if I need to go that route. She wasn't having any problems with solids.

Poor pumpkin. It is so hard when you can't explain to them why you can't fix it. Apparently that never changes either! All 4 of my mom's kids are in our 60s and she still suffers over us and thinks she is supposed to fix everything.

The scaffolding that would be required to create that would render breathing impossible, I think.
I have no choice but to mention that my lifelong allergies went bye bye after acupuncture.
Well, I better try acupuncture. WTH, nothing else works.

When I was pregnant my allergy meds were absolutely forbidden and my midwife suggested acupuncture. It was like a miracle for me. It changed my life. 38 years of being stuffed up, gone. It has creeped up on me a bit in the past couple years, but not anything like it was. It has been 20+ years since I had the treatment, so a booster might be in order.
