This is so nice. Having everyone together for my birthday. Of course, you could smash in all my toes with a hammer and it will still be the bestest Buffy Birthday Bash in a big long while.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Hmm, Nora, I may try your strategy for attracting Frosty.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Dangit, just missed Xerxes.

Punishingly Intricate

I finally got Xerxes' memento this morning after him visiting approx. 1 million times (that is, 42 times).

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Oh, I got Kathmandu's memento this morning! After only 8 visits! I was surprised. Frosty is hard to get. She's only come by 3 times for me. I think the power-level theory is accurate but I always feel bad about kicking my imaginary cats off their imaginary toys.

Thrive to spite them

I am missing about 8 cats but I need to get more of the good stuff.

Also , apparently, putting reminders for credit card payments on Google caleners so it shows on my phone and my computer means I just dismiss them and miss payments.

On the other hand I have not beat myself up about this and I put all my medication for the week in my pill caddy and realized I need to call in for refills on Monday. Hopefully I won't run out of anything.

I dismiss reminders too.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I inadvertently formed a stash of tampons and pads when I shopped for a period that never came (yay, menopause! It's all the good things you've heard).

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

When my period stopped after I got the Mirena, I donated the rest of my tampons and pads to the food pantry in my neighborhood, because they also provide personal care items to their clients.

They let you donate boxes that have been opened? I've got a couple of those languishing in a closet.

The guy at our food pantry said that as long as the tampons and pads were individually wrapped, they would take them. Because I wasn't sure they would accept them, but I was dropping off other stuff, so I figured I'd take them along and ask.
