So, because New Orleans is tiny, at my next job I will be subcontracting under my current boss' ex business partner, who I will call P. P and current boss were suing each other not too long ago, if that gives you an indication of how things ended. This came up today with current boss, and I said straight up, "I will not talk to you about P and I will not talk to P about you." He proceeds to go off on P for several minutes, including talking about how much P used to denigrate me, apparently.
No boundaries, this guy. None. That's part of why I'm leaving. But, you know, he's letting me take a week paid vacation instead of prorating what I've earned so far.

Work is still stagger stepping along, go, stop, go, stop. There is so much to do, but I do step one, someone else has to do step two before I can do step three. Arrrggg.
My next month is going to push my introverted self. I have all day training next Saturday (I'm presenting the training), I'm a delegate at the Colorado State Democratic Convention the next week, I have a few hours of training the following Saturday (to volunteer at Denver Comic Con), and then, on the 30th, we have our big fund raiser for the horse therapy program where I'm in charge of organizing all the volunteers. I have a feeling the next few Sundays will be me being a hermit and recharging.

Rubbing alcohol, Zen. I use a combo of it and vinegar to dry out and ward off swimmers' ear, respectively, because i don't ever not get water in my ears.
