I have some mementos, including one from Mr. Meowgi after only eleven visits! And then I have cats that have visited several dozen times and nada.
Hey, you know when you break up with someone and suddenly you're not mad anymore because none of it is your fucking problem anymore? That's how I feel about my job right now. Ahhhhh…
I finally got Joe DiMeowgio! I figured if I built it (put the baseball in the yard), he would come.
I've had the baseball for a while, but he finally showed up last night.
I'll take any calm~ma people can spare for the next couple of days.

That's terrific, smonster! I still get mad about stuff from my old job. And have some ptsd about things like sending email messages and not cc'ing the right people or setting up meetings. Ugh.

I don't know, but I smile when he visits. It is going to be f o r e v e r before I can expand my yard.

I can neither confirm nor deny that when he first showed up I immediately said "Gozer the Gozerian? Good evening."
I have more new cats.
Mom's home and it was feeling better by the time she got here. She had news about her older sister. My Aunt W, she's been in bad health -- tired a lot, stumbling, passing out, not sleeping well--but the doctor hasn't been able to figure out what was going on. Last week sometime she felt really bad and went to the doctor. Her regular wasn't in so she saw someone else, who after seeing her pulse rate told her she had to go to the ER ASAP for a pacemaker. Either someone could drive her or she could go by ambulance.
A friend took her to the ER and she ended up getting a pacemaker the same day (there was a change in the schedule). It's been 3 days and Mom called her this morning. She's sleeping better and feels like she has energy.
I really hope that her heartbeat was erratic and that's why her old doctor didn't figure out what was going on. But I kinda want her to switch to the one who sent her to the ER.
