Article: Instagram Celebrities Are Behind The Modern Corset Boom. They seem to have left out the Buffistas. Somehow.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
{{{Vortex}}} I've never been able to stand there during a father daughter dance at a wedding. I usually just go hide in the bathroom until that part is over.
Yikes, Zen. That sounds uncomfortable.
ltc hardly napped at all today. An hour of going back and forth to her room trying to get her to settle down led to a 20 minute nap. Remind me to smite the next doctor that balks when I tell them my current exercise routine is taking care of a baby.
Also, I've been tracking points on weight watchers for 3 days, and already today I wanted to eat all the things. Of course, some of that may have been the stress of ltc not napping.
sj, you should get a Fit Bit or step tracker on your phone. When the docs give you crap, just show them the steps.
and thanks everyone. It just totally hit me by surprise when I was watching Downton Abbey. Edith was coming down the stairs and Robert looked up at her so happy and proud, and I just started crying. Totally blindsided. I guess I thought that after all of this time, it wouldn't hit me so hard.
I have a tracker on my phone, but I don't carry it with me around the house. I have a Fit Bit somewhere. I just have to figure out where and set it up. I put it somewhere "safe" so that I would know where it was after ltc was born.

Whenever I've done Weight Watchers or even just started tracking my food while trying to stay within a calorie range, the first 7-10 days are the WORST. I want to eat everything in sight. It'll get better as you adjust, though.
I'm exhausted. I don't know why. Also, lots of pain. I need to call the rheumatologist and make an appointment, but I keep forgetting that when it's during business hours and I'm not in front of a class. Also need to make a bunch of other phone calls. There should be more things that can be done online.

I hope so. I definitely need to add more zero point foods in to my diet because even with the extra points for breast feeding, I was hungry today.

Yeah, I always had to scramble to add zero-point foods (or, in the case of just tracking food, more veggies) for the first week or so. It's annoying, but you'll adjust.

Tim has an appointment with a rheumatologist at UC Health at the end of the month to puzzle out if he has gout or RA (or, hell, both).

Yeah, that's where I'm going to go. There are two doctors there who are recommended as knowing about EDS. Plus, I get a discount on my copay. But mostly because of the recommended doctors. I just need to actually remember to call and make an appointment during business hours. There are also two other doctors I need to call for various things. And I hate phone calls.

Can you do that online? Or do you already have to be an established patient within the UC Health system? Tim's primary care doctor is with UC Health, so he's already in the system and can make appointments online. So handy.
