Does anybody mind if I pass out?

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Warm non-hug-like thoughts for Steph. And for Hil (I can't remember your hug preferences offhand, but can only imagine a hug would hurt more). Lots of hug-like thoughts for smonster and your whole family.

Always Anti-fascist!

TB, Facebook must not understand how many of us are hairs away from telling them to suck it. I would *almost* love that, as it would get me out of a lot of drama "guilt-free" It would be a problem with PDA, but I kind of don't want my page anymore otherwise so if they "took it away" I wouldn't have to be worrying about the time and trouble of the millionth deletions. Steph, smonster, sorry about the family stuff.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The much anticipated interesting diapers from solid food has begun. TCG is horrified.

Our wings are not tired.

Hahahahahaha! It is always such a shocker for those that haven't been babysitters.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I finally got my prescription filled today. Getting several days worth of no-meds pain under control is a lot tougher than just having the meds to stop the pain in the first place. My body's reaction of muscles getting tense around painful spots is a lot stronger than most people's, and those tense muscles just make the pain worse, which makes the muscles tense even more, and breaking the cycle can take a while. Sometimes doing a yoga video helps, but I didn't want to do that without having pain meds on hand, just in case I stretched something too far, so I didn't so that over the weekend. I'll start doing it tomorrow, though. Also, someone else who lives in Cincinnati and has EDS recommended a particular massage therapist who knows about EDS, and I looked her up, and she's got a degree in occupational therapy and she's just down the block from me, so I might make an appointment with her, too. (Figuring out that I need to do these things is so much easier when I'm in less pain.)

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

That sounds like a good lead for the massage therapist, Hil. I hope the pain abates soon.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

sounds like a good paln,Hil

I was in the ER saturday night with what turned out to be a mysterious stomach virus and not appendicitis - I'm sticking with the higer level of pain meds for the next day or two - mostly so my body can rest - escalating pain cycles are no fun

hope you rest well tonight

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Hil, I hope your pain meds include muscle relaxants.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Every time I think about looking for another job, I read something from someone who's trying to find a job, and fear grips my heart again and I decide I better be happy with what I got.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Hil, feel better.

Yikes, beth. I hope you're feeling better today.

I managed to get vegetable curry in the crock pot for dinner tonight before TCG got home. So, I was feeling less guilty about leaving him to deal with both baby wrangling and clean up duty while I showered, until I got out of the shower to find ltc screaming for milk as if she hadn't eaten all day (which was certainly not the case). In better news, ltc is taking to solid foods very quickly and is absolutely loving it.
