I am not having sex with Spike! But I'm starting to think that you might be.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Because books.

Breathe, sj. All kinds of ~ma.

Our wings are not tired.

Calm~ma, sj. I wish we were in-laws to balance things out. I hope the visit with the other in-laws is enjoyable.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Calm ~ma, sj!

Andi, that's really wonderful!

Congrats to CJ on passing the driver's test and also for being a mature and responsible young man.

smonster, hope you get rest and pain-free-ness soon.

I could use a little ~ma for my back to stop hurting. I can barely fucking walk and nothing I've taken or done has made a dent in it. I just took twice as much Valium as I usually take in the hopes of relaxing any muscle spasms that may be the culprit. (Not driving or anything, no worries.)

Argh. Of course the doctors office called to say they'd approved the refill ...as soon as I got to the airport and it was too late to turn around. Oh well. Guess ill get it when I get back.

Good news, I went back and my friend fixed up my hair--still not at all the cut I wanted but at least something I can work with.

Beverly - Jul 24, 2013 9:28:13 am PDT #2273 of 30002
Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh, yay better hair, meara. And I'm sorry the refill came too late to grab it before your flight.

Good rest and pain-ease to smonster.

sj, you're a lovely person. All in-laws that aren't batshit craxy will love you and enjoy your company.

WooT! CJ. Never doubted you, man!

And a giant buttload of ease~ma to Zen. Can you call your doc and have muscle relaxers delivered? Okay, goes like this: call doc, have muscle relaxers delivered, take 'em, call cab either to doc for eval, or to PT for assessment and treatment? Would that work? Because it really sounds like more than just spasming muscles. And both walking and less pain seem like worthy goals.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Bev, that sounds like a cromulent plan for Zenkitty. I hope it proves doable.

In the continuing drama of my family. K-Bug stopped by after work and we had a nice conversation. Talking about everything but the bf until the very end. Her take on it all is that he and I are just both being ridiculously stubborn. At this point, I don't even care. He is not welcome in my house or any other family stuff I coordinate.

WindSparrow! Woo! Good to see you getting recognition for your awesomeness.

{{SuziQ}} I'm just so sorry. It sucks to be put in this position. I know how hard it is to stay tough. I've had to tell Brendon he isn't welcome in my home anymore. I will see him at his place or at a park or restaurant, but he isn't to come to the house. Not equivalent really, but I understand well how blinded and unreasonable kids can be. I sincerely hope that this passes and K-Bug has a change of heart.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I wish we were in-laws to balance things out.

I love this idea: and why not adopt a third set of in-laws? "We have his parents, who are batshit about hot-button issue X; and my parents, who are nails on my personal blackboard about Y, Z, and Q; and then we have the Buffistas-in-law, who are just fabulous."
