Mal: You tell me right now, little Kaylee, you really think you can do this? Kaylee: Sure. Yeah. I think so. 'Sides, if I mess up, not like you'll be able to yell at me.

Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

My best friend from HS went to my college and he introduced me to people by my HS nickname ("Rock"), and consequently that's what everybody from my college calls me to this day.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I like Skye, I say give it a try.

Rock is an excellent nickname!

I would never go by my middle name, Ruth, because it was my mother's name.

Most people know me as Toni and don't realize it's just a nickname for Antonia.

Thrive to spite them

I'm here. Mom can't remember her WiFi password. She has a router modem combo supplied by the company ...it's dsl...so maybe she can call them about resetting it I'd just plug in mine but 1 I don't know if that will work and 3 I have no idea where the cabled and power cords are.

E was freaking thrilled to see me. I was tackle hugged. Tomorrow I get to go with mom to pick him up from school and take himy to swim practice.

Where I will practice introducing myself as Skye.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yay for arriving safe and getting tackle hugs, Skye!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I think it's a great idea. See how it feels!

I have issues because I use my middle name as a stage name, but then most of my songwriter buds know me from my Berklee classes, so they call me by my first name. So when I go to networking events I'm confusing to people; I get introduced as Lisa but then hand them a card that says Sumiko. But I dunno what to do about it. People work it out, I guess.

There's just one poor dude who was the first person I introduced myself to as "Lisa, err, Sumiko" and he's always so apologetic. I'm sorry I can't remember, I'm so bad with names! But it's totally not his fault, I botched the intro! And then the first event someone was following me down the hall calling out "Sumiko! Sumiko!" And I was totally non responsive. Oops.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

askye, I think it is a great idea. Skye is a wonderful name.

Our wings are not tired.

Some lung~ma would be appreciated. My mother is in the hospital with bronchitis. A bit of pneumonia, but they say her vaccine probably helped out there. Mostly she is in a bad emotional state because she always equates hospitalization with dying. I am sure they will let her go asap because hospitals really are not healthy places for 94 year old people. She went to the ER Friday night and they gave her an injection and oral meds, but it didn't do the job so in for IV.
