I think I'm going to be really decadent and get a massage when I'm in Vegas in February, at the casino spa. Maybe they'll do better than in a hole-in-the-wall "day spa/oxygen bar" in a middling town in Utah.
'Shells'
Spike's Bitches 48: I Say, We Go Out There, and Kick a Little Demon Ass.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Connie, that is my current dilemma. I want an actual therapist who can do therapeutic massage, not a fluffy massage. So, no Massage Envy. More research than my brain allows at the moment.
Suzi, I can ask my brother if he's found anyone yet. Although they live up in Superior and he goes to school in Boulder, so he may have found a massage therapist up there. But I'll check, because I know he needed to find one.
Oh for fucks sake.i turned in my cable box today. My service was scheduled to be disconnect Sunday and when I get home...no service. One dept. Of Comcast says they shut it off early and they transfered me to the department has no clue what's going on.
I am so.... after 40 minutes most of it on hold I got disconnected and I can't call back because I get a busy signal.
askye, I got quick resolution to a Comcast no-service problem once with an angry tweet to @comcast , believe it or not.
I'd like a fluffy massage. We have a Massage Envy here. Maybe I'll try it.
House has been measured for new flooring. I'll get the quote in a couple days. Have already decided to do it so hopefully it won't break the little bank.
I also got a response by tweeting Comcast, though I wouldn't call it quick.
At this point I'm not going to worry with it. I haven't packed Princess Bride or Pacific Rim or the flash drive with The Great British Bake Off so between that and the games on mom's tablet and my Kindle app we are covered for entertainment. Well being able to get on Second Life or play Warframe...heck even Simpsons Tapped Out would be nice but tomorrow is busy and hopefully Friday we are leaving.
I realized I never called the electric company and I need to.
Mom told me E wasn't happy she was going away and when she said "it's for a few days and I'll bring Lala with me" he said "but I'll miss you."
Also he seems to have outgrown wanting to call me Lala so I'm going to ask if he wants to call me Aunt Ali. Momy calls me Ali all the time. I miss having a special name from him.
askye, I'm so happy that your move means you will get to spend more time with E. He's at such a great age, and I'm sure you'll have a ton of fun together.
Apparently parenthood means you forget it's your anniversary until Facebook reminds you and after your husband has already left for work. We're going to Mario Batali's new Boston restaurant on Saturday, but I guess I should at least pick up a card for him today.
Heh, I don't think we've ever exchanged cards for anniversaries. But we aren't really card people. I probably haven't bought him a birthday card since the first or second year we dated. Verbal wishes with a hug and kiss, and usually something celebratory like dinner out.
