We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

askye, I know it's a lot of work, but do your best to get receipts. I was able to write off $1500 in one year.

Thrive to spite them

I'll try but at this point even though I'm not working I'm still feel like I'm running out of spoons for everything.

It's like my medical stuff became a full time job this year and moving has become a part time job over that. I feel .... crappy... feeling that way when people don't have the luxury I've had but it is what is.

Penny gets kuods for catting! I realize now she's a pounce-and-kill type she's much more the enjoy-her-prey's-fear type.

Things done so far:

Scheduled Habitat for Humanity pick up
Scheduled vet
another load of laundry done
more clothes sorted
books repacked -realized I need MORE SMALL boxes.
canned goods out of pantry and ready to go to donation (I won't eat them) I think I did that last night but after midnight so it counts
Put address change in with post office website

Still left:

Go by vet's to pick up feliway stuff
Go to Goodwill
Go to grocery store to drop off food & redeem some of diet coke cans
Get more small boxes from Home Depot.
Get gas

All of that is together except the vet which is in the opposite direction.

Ann, that's a ferret.

askye, moving is a lot of work. But it sounds like you're almost there.

My place is in such disarray and I keep finding trash or books in weird places. I have an area with a cardtable and I'm going to take itdown and start stacking boxes to move there (currently they are just anywhere semi out of the way.

I have caught a few lucky breaks - the oil tank had enough kerosene in it I didn't have to buy that. And when I went about my phone I was told there would be a charge to replace it (standard) only there wasn't . There still might be but I'm hoping there won't be. And yeah my car is...salvage at this point...but the repair bill was so high it was easy to make the decision rather than trying to agonize over fixing it or not.

I did mess up a work related thing - we get points for doing things or completing tasks and I was just going to be greedy and redeem them all of store rewards certificates but then I decided to get a Visa Gift Card. Only after I ordered it I realized it can't go to a PO Box. I contacted them and they are trying to figure it out. I did get the certificates I ordered and they expire in Jan so if I lose out on these I lose out (which would suck because it's like $500 worth of certificates). I can't use them to buy Visa gift cards, but I can use them to buy Netflix gift cards to pay my subscription for the year and I think the store sells Targert gift cards so I can turn them into gift cards I can use to buy Xmas presents and stuff.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

It's like my medical stuff became a full time job this year and moving has become a part time job over that.

It IS. You're doing great, really. Even though I know you feel spoonless, you're getting the stuff done, and it's hard and you deserve kudos.

Kudos also to Penny for catting super well.

I wonder if my cats would cat that well if we got a mouse in the house. Leo goes after flying things; he totally caught a cicada that got in the house once. He was very proud of himself. I think Murray the former stray might take care of a mouse problem. Percy the Emo Cat would stare as it ran by and ponder its grim existence.

After I tossed the mouse outside Penny found one of her play mice and sniffed it and walked off. I told her "Not as much fun as the ones that run huh?"

I haven't watched Criminal Minds in awhile but I did think... how would they profile her two attacks.

Askye, what Zenkitty said. Also, good job Penny.

So I forgot the bag of food so that didn't get donated.

I didn't get more boxes because I wanted to completely use what I have and see from there.

In my trunk I found: 2 more bags of diet coke cans (I squirreled thesee things away), 2 bags to donate including 2 pairs of pants that were too big but I think will fit again! AND my ipod nano. Not ure how that ended up there.

I also realized as I drove away there was a hoodie Will gave me and I got a pang of regret but I'm not going back for it. Plus I didn't miss it.

Aww, that's so sweet sj :)

I have an awful neck/jaw/headache and haven't accomplished any work today. Ugh. Tried a heating pad, no dice. Now trying more painkiller, caffeine, and a tennis ball. Maybe sorta working.
